The PTFE Bellows Chemical Pump Seal is a mechanical seal designed for aggressive chemical service. It features a welded PTFE bellows assembly that functions as both the secondary seal and the axial flexibility component. This design eliminates the need for elastomers, providing compatibility with highly corrosive and high-purity fluids. The seal is engineered to handle a wide range of acids, caustics, and solvents at temperatures up to 180°C. Standard configurations include silicon carbide, alumina ceramic, or carbon faces. It is suitable for sealless pump applications and aggressive chemical transfer services where elastomer compatibility is limited.
